Housing is one of the biggest issues for anyone with an environmental illness.  Finding a safe place to live can make the difference between life and death.

Many of us are the uncounted homeless, living in our cars or in the wilderness trying to find a place that will allow us safe passage.

I was fortunate and rented from a place pretty much in the woods.  Instead of living in my apartment, which would make me sick  I lived in a tent for about a year and was still exposed to chemicals which amazed me. (more…)

I noticed some car’s headlights burn.  I think they are halogen.  they seem to have a blue hue to them.

Today while at the doctor’s office I encountered them in a bad exposure/over exposure.   The doctor’s waiting room is subterranean with the windows being about shoulder high and level with the parking lot. There was a car waiting in the cold with it’s engine running and it’s lights beaming into the office waiting room. (more…)

Linda is a gal with environmental illness from a mercury poisoning incident.  She has a heart for Christ and was going to the mission field until God had other plans for her life.   Now she is building her life back to be able to serve others.  Her dream is to help others with environmental illness find safe havens.

This website/blog is all about her EI struggle in hopes that others will be able to benefit from the lessons learned.   At this point she is trying to raise money to live and work in a safe environment herself.   Her hope is that this website/blog will be a place where people can donate money and also tell share their story on how they live with environmental illness or how God touched their heart through this work.

Living with environmental illness is challenging – not being able to be exposed too long to anything.  She lived in the wilderness for a while like most who have environmental illness.  She now lives in a small apartment that is fairly environmentally safe for her. (more…)
