EI Homeless Center

The Bubble project’s goal is to obtain funds to purchase a safe living and working environments for people with Environmental Illness.    Rev Linda Bender has preliminary scoped out several spaces that would work and for a decent place, they run between one and six million dollars, depending on how many people can be supported with the space and of course location.

Getting many $30 donations….

Linda is naturally a giver and finds it hard to ask for help.  Due to her disabilities, she feels like she is at her end and that only God can provide.  She has prayed and fasted for several days and came up with the task of telling her need to churches and seeing how God’s people will respond.

She keeps thinking with enough hearts touched there can be a miracle. She has no clue what God has planned, but hopes there is enough hearts out there to make this project come to fruition.

It is all possible, but to Linda it still seems impossible… She knows God majors in the impossible and just takes this step of faith of putting the need out there for folks to respond.

Thanks for sharing your heart!

Disappointing that none of the churches responded. Surely thought that God's people would have moved, but the world has been in chaos with so many other people in need, I think Haiti is the highest concern in the public eye. With the BP oil issue, there is going to be many more people in need for an environmental sanctuary. Found several good spots for this project, need to do further evaluation.
